Hi there,I check in with the Prosthetic Knowledge blog every now and again and really like what you post on there.
I figured that you’d probably like the video by High Contrast. Very glitchy
No commercial relation with High Contrast or the like, just the aesthetic seemed relevant for your style.
A music video that employs various art-tech methods and references, a cocktail of databending, glitch, vhs video, 8Bit graphics and sprites, 3D, Net Art - all put together well, worth a look if you like this sort of stuff. Video embedded below:

Another in-browser webcam toy - this one, by @fiftythirteen takes your visual feed and converts it into a retro coloured dither.
(Best seen clicking the images if you are viewing via the Tumblr Dashboard, to see the effect work as it should).

Proteus
Indie video game with Zen-like experience, with ambient audio music and 3D Atari-cartridge-like visuals. An island is randomly generated for exploration, with no goal orientated action.

Visual computing student archives the graphics of 80s and early 90s home computer systems
ETH Zurich student Werner Randelshofer has been archiving the digital artwork of eighties and early nineties home computer systems on the web. A master’s student in visual computing, Randelshofer has collected samples from the Amiga, Atari ST, IBM clones, and lesser-known computer systems like the British SAM Coupé.
The site I drew attention to last week is on The Verge website, with a hat-tip and a couple of GIFs I put together.

Fujiya & Miyagi - Sore Thumb
2008 music video is a real world homage to retro 3D vector arcade game ‘Battlezone’:
Director Wade Shotter explains: “The initial inspiration for Fujiya & Miyagi’s ‘Sore Thumb’ promo came from the idea of taking the simple visual language of early 80s wireframe/vector animation, which exists as a well known but purely digital format, and re-inventing it by building real physical wireframe structures. It followed that every graphic and detail should be made and shot in-camera to adhere to the same theme.” So basically, Fujiya & Miyagi have wireframe exoskeletons now. And tanks.
A highly recommended music video by the same band and director is ‘Ankle Injuries’, which uses dice as pixels, painstakingly stop-motion animated [link]

Pretty much every type of media has been used for pornographic content, early home computers are no exception, despite the technological limitations. Here, you will find graphics of (mainly) naked women and some men, mostly crudely hand drawn or put together with text characters.
Just don’t expect anything sophisticated, either with the graphics, or the terrible humour.
