Blade Runner Aquarelle Edition, Part 1 (Teaser)
A remix of the film Blade Runner, created with frames handmade with watercolour pencils:
This animation is made of 3285 aquarelle paintings and form the very beginning of my paraphrase on the motion picture Blade Runner (1982) by Ridley Scott.
The sound is borrowed from the original movie.
The video, embedded below, is only a few parts of the film, all very recognizable:

Pretty Eight Machine by Inverse Phase
Chiptune re-engineered version of Nine Inch Nail’s ‘Pretty Hate Machine’ album.
This is Pretty Hate Machine, re-imagined in its entirety on eight different 8-bit systems, so I’ve named it “Pretty Eight Machine”. Sound configurations include: SID/6581 (Commodore 64), POKEY (Atari 800), straight 2A03 (NES), AY/SCC+ (MSX+Metal Gear 2 or Snatcher cartridge), SN76489 (Sega Master System), 2A03+VRC6 (Famicom+Castlevania 3 cartridge), LR35902 (Game Boy), and OPLL (MSX-MUSIC or Japanese Sega Master System).
You can listen to the album in the embed below, or check out the Bandcamp page with more information here
Phillip Stearns over at Year of the Glitch recently remixed an intothecontinuum GIF. From what I am aware of no one has ever done an edit of any of my posts before, and I have never edited anyone else. So, I did a remix of the remix, which is shown above. Its what would result from transforming his edit into log-polar coordinates.
See the original post here, and the Year of the Glitch edit here.

Mic Check 1234! by Max Tannone
A remix project combining hip-hop vocals to punk classics.
Above - Police Get Busy (Black Thought x Dead Kennedys)
Mic Check 1234! is a remix album consisting of rap and punk music. Despite their initial musical differences, the two genres also share many traits. Great rap and great punk both make you want to affect change, to rebel against the status quo, or to simply just get up and move. The music often stemmed from a place of social and economic inequality while exhibiting a fierce do-it-yourself attitude in the process; inspiring kids all over the world to strap on guitars, scream into microphones, ruin turntables, and mash drum machines. My aim was to take my favorite emcees’ more socio-political material and pair it with some of the best punk bands ever. This is the result.
Tracklist:
01 - Hip-Hop Anarchy (Dead Prez x Sex Pistols)
02 - Definition Of Blitzkrieg (Black Star x The Ramones)
03 - America Calling (Eminem x The Clash)
04 - Police Get Busy (Black Thought x Dead Kennedys)
05 - Wolves I Never Said (Lupe Fiasco x The Damned)
06 - Los Angeles Blues (Tupac Shakur x X)
07 - Talk To The Kids (Nas x Adolescents)
08 - Bring The Bars (Public Enemy x Black Flag)
09 - Ante Up The Crowd (M.O.P. x Operation Ivy)
10 - Youth Words (Kanye West x Reagan Youth)

Talking Heads - Once In A Lifetime - Jean Claude Gavri Headz Re Edit
Interesting remix of the fantastic well known song - what makes this differ to, say, the extended 12” record is how the song strips some of the production layers to make parts of the performance stand out, almost a musical dissection.

Two remix albums of Beastie Boys material, by Max Tannone and DJ A-1
Above is an embedded Soundcloud set of ‘Doublecheck Your Head’, remixing the “Check Your Head” album with other Beastie Boys material:
A remix album featuring the Beastie Boys over tracks sampling their own instrumental tracks - all coming from their 1992 record “Check Your Head.” Download for free: www.doublecheckyourhead.com - Produced by Max Tannone
Release date: Sep 1, 2009

Another remix mixtape is “Beastie Boys Gold Blend” by DJ A-1 from 2006, which is a straight up smart party mix. Via DSFL:
Although it’s entitled a “mix” mostly it’s not. However it is a great collection of Beastie Boys blends by Japan’s DJ A-1. Even though it’s very hard to make The Beastie’s sound bad many of blends are fantastic and for digital deejays yes these are 320kbps blends so add them to your digital crates.
