The FaceTime-Powered Sex Hotline Is No More via AppAdvice

Apparently FaceTime-powered porn on an iPhone doesn’t work, at least as a commercial business. One of the first adult entertainment companies to use Apple’s video application, iP4Play, has called it quits, according to Cult of Mac.

According to CEO Travis Falstad, they closed down because of FaceTime’s slow adoption rate.

World’s first 3D porn movie begins filming (via illillill)

The 3D mantra of “so real you can practically touch it” is about to take on a whole new meaning, as filmmakers in Hong Kong have cut the ribbon on what they claim is the first 3D porno ever made.

3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy sounds like the most awful name for an adult movie ever, but it’s set in stone as the first 3D movie of its kind, and it is set for a May 2011 release. In addition to distribution throughout Asia, the Sunday Morning Post reports that the film crew has already received calls from Europe and the US.

Producer Stephen Shiu said that deals are already beginning to line up from pay TV providers in Hong Kong, and similar offers are being discussed in Japan and Korea.
