Two remix albums of Beastie Boys material, by Max Tannone and DJ A-1
Above is an embedded Soundcloud set of ‘Doublecheck Your Head’, remixing the “Check Your Head” album with other Beastie Boys material:
A remix album featuring the Beastie Boys over tracks sampling their own instrumental tracks - all coming from their 1992 record “Check Your Head.” Download for free: www.doublecheckyourhead.com - Produced by Max Tannone
Another remix mixtape is “Beastie Boys Gold Blend” by DJ A-1 from 2006, which is a straight up smart party mix. Via DSFL:
Although it’s entitled a “mix” mostly it’s not. However it is a great collection of Beastie Boys blends by Japan’s DJ A-1. Even though it’s very hard to make The Beastie’s sound bad many of blends are fantastic and for digital deejays yes these are 320kbps blends so add them to your digital crates.

Mix number two - a great hour long hip-hop / beats mix:
A live mix of some ill ass beats by some of my favorite beatsmiths… I put on a monthly party of the same name and this is some typical music of what you might hear (among other woofer blowing tunes). This mix is a little rough around the edges but the tracks themselves are a little rough around the edges so it works enough. I’m happy with it for now… Just hit record and go, chose records on the fly… Maybe I’ll go back and clean it up but that would take a long time so… C’est la vie…
If you like any of the songs, look the artist up, there’s lots more where this came from… only scratchin’ the surface…

There are now four parts put together by J Rocc available free from their store:

A year after the passing of J Dilla, J. Rocc continued his Thank You Jay Dee series, with this one. It was planned this as a three part series. It became four, mixed and released via Stones Throw Podcast over the course of three years.
[Yes, I know, going by the title, that this mix is a day late …]
A very mellow, chilled mix:
I’d been thinking about doing a Sunday mix for some time and then I heard Wilco’s song “One Sunday Morning” & immediately loved it & had to start a mix so I could use that tune in it.
This mix is a collection of both vocal & instrumental tunes, that hopefully will work well with sitting at the kitchen table, drinking coffee & reading the paper. Sunday mornings always make me think of jazz so I included a couple of jazz tracks in the mix.
