Boards of Canada - A Few Old Tunes 

Uploaded by +dB on SoundCloud, this is one of a few cassette-only compilation releases by (allegedly) Boards Of Canada given to friends, featuring early studio demos, oddities, and ideas (such as the fourth track “Trapped” sounds like a vocal mash-up from a club R’n’B song with their instrumentation style). Originally released in 1996.

zebra rock n’ soul - best of bootlegs 2010 (embedded SoundCloud mix)

It sounds like a recording of a French radio show, but there are some absolute gems here. M.I.A + Otis Redding? Prince + Gorillaz? There are a few unfamiliar French tunes occasionally, but doesn’t affect the quality found here.

I love it when a mash-up comes along and takes you by surprise - interesting musical cocktails. This one mixes Bowies’s “Fame” with Booker T’s “Potato Hole”. Even the video feels different for a Bowie setting.
