Cross-Stitched Fashion Ads by Inge Jacobsen for Georg Jensen
From Design Boom:
In her first major collaborative project, irish-danish-born, england-based artist Inge Jacobsen has reworked photographer Sebastian Faena’s autumn/winter 2011 fashion campaign for historic danish manufacturers Georg Jensen.
The artist cross-stiches over the eight photographs of the series, which features danish model Freja Beha Erichsen, navigating the divides across realistic imagery, traditional craft, and contemporary design. Jacobsen’s works compose the spring / summer 2012 campaign for the company.
