Glitch Reality by Plummer Fernandez

Sculpture created from taking 3D model and removing points and polygons to give it a low-resolution look:

3D scanning a running trophy to obtain shape information that could be scaled-up to create a sculpture. The name refers to the imperfections and low-resolution that the final form inherits from the limitations of the scanning procedure.

There is also a second sculpture, Glitch Reality II, which uses the same method, this time with a tea set:

UPDATE: Plummer Fernandez have a Tumblr blog with more recent works.
